VIDEO CONFERENCING SYSTEM

Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks has introduced the WebVideo Conferencing System with the help of which Applicants / Authorized Agents can conduct structured meetings/ hearings. This system allows the users to have an online Video Conferencing from their own premises/Office simply with the use of Desktop/Laptops having Camera, Microphone and Speakers. As a result of improved communications, participants are more in sync, decisions are able to be made faster, and productivity increases.

The activity aims to:

• Strengthen the existing hearing system
• Reduce distance barriers, time & efforts
• Improve communication and discussions

Features of the Video Conferencing System:-

• Face to face online conference
• Whiteboard Facility for quick explanations
• Sharing of PDF Documents for better discussions.

 Procedure:

1. Initiator (Office) sends an email bearing the link and details to access the Video Conferencing system to the user with whom the video conference is to be conduct. 
2. User has to follow the instructions given in the email
3. Conferencing will be held on the booked slot of time.
4. Initiator & other Participants can interact on their Laptop/Desktops through Webcam, Mic and Speakers.
